Not entirely sure what this means, but I assume that there is a \ in a file path that shouldn't be there, but haven't looked into it.Ĥ warning: Checksum for /home/cringe_master/.var/app//cache/winetricks/corefonts/arial32.exe did not match, but -force was used, so ignoring and trying anyway.ĥ Not a warning, but I still feel it to be important: Executing cabextract -q -d /home/cringe_master/Games/origin/dosdevices/c:/windows/temp /home/cringe_master/.var/app//cache/winetricks/corefonts/arial32.exe I am not sure how to get it to use a 32 bit WINEPREFIX, and totourial that I saw was confusing(I am fairly new to Linux, only using it for a month or two) If you encounter problems, please retest in a clean 32-bit WINEPREFIX before reporting a bug. Note that many verbs only install 32-bit versions of packages. ![]() It still thinks that I am on the older version and I don't know how to fix that, and the more digging that I do, I've been able to see that it tries to use the old version, which I am not sure if it is still on my system.Ģ warning: you are using a 64-bit WINEPREFIX. When using proton 8.0-3, it gets to opening what appears to be the EA App installer, which after clicking 'lets go', opens Link2EA, but with a graphical error. I recently bought Plants vs Zombies gw2 on Steam, and when I try to launch it using proton experimental, it tries to download the EA App, Microsoft DirextX, and the fails to launch, going back to the green play button. Thank you for your help, but I am likely to just return the game because the ban tools were leaked to the public, which destroyed half of the game. ![]() Go back to earlier and use protontricks to install arial for the steam version with
