![]() It's hard to trust that for fantasy purposes though. Spart and LA Guerillas most promising part might be based around a new style, with no expectations they have the ability to switch things up and try to catch some others teams off guard. Spart and LA Guerillas are unfortunate fades, after an honestly brilliant set of qualifiers in Stage 2. Spart is far from a bad player, but we've seen time after time, it's hard to make the step up from Challengers into the league. At the end of the day this is sort of a 'free space' of fades. Spart was never intended to play in Major 2, but sometimes life gets in the way and Gunless is dealing with a variety of illnesses. Company doesn't get much better than that. Temp had the fifth highest K/D in Stage 2, sandwiched between Cellium and Simp. will likely take on Florida in their first match and that is a very winnable contest. They may be starting in the lower bracket but Temp and co. I'll even say it quietly, with John and Jimbo in good form too, Paris aren't a bottom-four team in the CDL. Temp has been an exceptional fantasy player throughout the season, and his Stage 2 form has been brilliant. Well, this is strange, but honestly, at this point, there's nothing to be confused by here. A Round 1 match against the Gunless-less LA Guerillas before a likely clash with London gives Methodz all sorts of upside too. Methodz is absolutely fire right now, and Boston is a top four team in the CDL right now. In Stage 2 Methodz has a 1.38 overall K/D, nearly 0.15 better than Dashy. Let's call his form SN 1987A, because this AR is the hottest thing in the universe right now, and supernovas need to step aside. What is Methodz eating for breakfast in the morning? GOAT-ios? There's good form, there's red-hot, and then there's whatever Methodz is on. ![]() The only concern for Scump, and any member of OpTic Texas is a possible Round 2 match with FaZe, who are the only team competitive with OpTic. On Gavutu, especially when Scump is pushed to pick up the longer range rifles, he has been exceptionally good. The most impressive bit for Scump? He's been better with the AR than the SMG. The SMG has been in dominant form and now that he's back on his throne he's shown no signs of stepping down. On a team with Shotzzy, Dashy and iLLeY, Scump might still be the best player. The first match of Week 3 will be against LA Thieves on Friday, May 19, while the last will be on Sunday, May 21, against Toronto Ultra. This article is part of our Call of Duty series.Ĭall of Duty Major 2 is upon us, and it's time to take a look at the players to target and players to fade heading into the second major of the CDL season, hosted by the Minnesota Rokkr. Since then, the team has only managed to beat teams at the bottom of the overall standings and have had no positive results so far.Īs mentioned, the RØKKR will have to face two really powerful opponents this last week to fight to finish inside the TOP 8 of the table. There is no doubt that the announcement of Attach’s return to the team’s starting lineup is nothing more than a confirmation that it was a terrible decision to promote Kevin “Fame” Bonanno from the Challengers scene. Minnesota come to terms with its bad decision Undoubtedly, this was disappointing for this team that got fourth place in the CDL Championship 2021 and also managed to win the last Major of that season. Remember that, in the previous season’s edition the team failed to qualify by only 20 CDL Points. ![]() On the other hand, the RØKKR know that they must have good results from now on to qualify for the CDL Championship 2023. The eight best teams (according to the CDL Points they obtained throughout the season) will be present at this final event that marks the end of the 2023 season. Remember that Major V is the last chance for teams to qualify for the CDL Championship 2023. Last chance to qualify for the CDL Championship 2023 Meanwhile, Toronto Ultra is showing a high level of play, just as they did in Major III when they lifted the champions trophy. However, the team is in danger of starting the Major V from the Elimination Brackets, as LA Thieves, reigning Major IV champions, will try to score their first win. Now, the team must look for two wins in the final week of the tournament against Toronto and LA Thieves to qualify for the top eight to start the main event in the Winners Bracket. This news comes after the team fell for the second time in the online qualifiers for Major V to Las Vegas Legion last May 14. Ahead of the final weekend of Major V Qualifiers, Attach will be returning to the starting lineup and Afro will be moved to the bench.
